Site Manager

The Arthur Project (TAP) is a youth mentoring organization that partners with middle schools to provide relationship-based, therapeutic mentoring that promotes healing, belonging, academic success, and long-term opportunity.

Our mentors are social work students who serve as trusted adults who help young people navigate challenges, build social capital, and strengthen connections to school, family, and community. TAP is committed to advancing equity through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and prevention-focused practice.

The Site Manager serves as the on-site leader responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of TAP programming within a partner middle school. This role supervises social work student mentors, manages school partnerships, coordinates daily operations, and ensures high-quality service delivery for students and families.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who is passionate about youth development, social work practicum education and school partnerships.

Site Leadership & Operations

• Manage daily program operations within assigned school sites
• Coordinate schedules, logistics, and program implementation
• Ensure alignment between school expectations and TAP programming
• Maintain consistent communication across staff and stakeholders

Program Quality

• Oversee student programming and student engagement activities
• Monitor program fidelity and implementation quality
• Support youth and family engagement efforts
• Identify emerging student needs and coordinate appropriate supports

Supervision & Development

• Supervise Mentors (Social Work students)
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development
• Foster a collaborative, strengths-based team culture
• Support onboarding and training of new staff

School Partnerships

• Serve as the primary liaison with school administrators and staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school stakeholders
• Participate in school meetings and collaborative planning efforts
• Represent TAP within the school community

Data & Reporting

• Monitor attendance, engagement, and participation metrics
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate program trends and site needs to leadership
• Support organizational evaluation and reporting efforts

Required

• LMSW with at least three years post-masters experience
• SIFI certification required
• Experience supervising social work interns
• Experience working with youth in school, community, or social service settings
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to equity, social justice, and culturally responsive practice

Preferred

• School-based experience
• Experience managing partnerships with educational institutions
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and healing-centered practices
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
