Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) is a community-based organization that empowers low-income people of color to break the cycle of poverty in the New York City communities of Washington Heights, Hamilton Heights, and Inwood. We employ a holistic approach that dismantles the economic and social inequities that prevent our community members from living their best lives.
Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) seeks to hire a Social Worker who will be responsible for assessment, case management, referrals, and counseling for participants on-site for the Rangel PACT Social Services Program. This role focuses exclusively on supporting residents’ emotional and psychological well-being through counseling, mental health screenings, crisis intervention, and emotionally informed care.
The Social worker will be primarily based on site as a part of a multidisciplinary PACT social services team serving a public housing community.
The Social Worker will work closely with Rangel Resident Coordinators, who will identify residents in need of mental health services and refer them directly for care.
