We are a small, cohesive team of professionals (and animals) who offer in-person and remote therapy options, including office-based therapy, walk-and-talk sessions on our farm, and equine assisted psychotherapy, to adults and children ages 8+.

The warm, welcoming team at Adirondack Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, LCSW, is seeking a licensed therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to provide individual therapy to adults, teens, and kids ages 8+ at our offices, located on Haven Oaks Farm in Moreau, NY.

We offer office-based therapy, walk-and-talk sessions on the farm, equine assisted psychotherapy, and remote therapy via phone and video.

• Conduct mental health therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
• Assess patient needs, develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records following HIPAA , licensing, and insurance guidelines.
• Collaborate with community/medical resources as needed for patient intake and clinical care
• Utilize premium skills and evidence-based models of therapy for effective patient care.
• Stay updated on best practices and research in the field to enhance therapy outcomes.
• Obtain training in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
• Maintain licensing requirements and maintain active licensure.

Minimum Master's level valid, current New York State license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)

Prior horse experience preferred but not necessary.
